Happy!!

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! Boy, they fly by, don't they??!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions Blog and I have a project to share with you using one of the new dies from the May Release.

These are in honor of all the ladies who love to ride motorcycles :) I am not a motorcycle rider, but I did have a moped when I was a teenager and I absolutely loved it!! It was a Suzuki and I named her Suzy (original, huh??!!) Oh, she was a beauty!! She would fly down the streets, much faster than my friends' mopeds :) Anyhoo, back to the card - I started off with the Whispers Floral Background die for the base of the cards. The Whispers Vintage Motorcycle was cut twice, once in black for a shadow, and popped up with foam tape for dimension.

These cards can be used for any occasion, so I just used a Sweet Wordlet Happy die for the sentiment. A Wee Petite Button die was used on the ribbon.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

1. DL.Art - June Linky
2. Little Scrap Pieces - Show It Off Saturday

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great week :)

  10. My sister is one of those ladies that love bikes. She always wanted to be a biker chick but never achieved that dream (I'm happy about that). These would be so perfect for her. They are so gorgeous! I love the dies you used and popping up the bike. FYI..I loved my moped too. I don't know why they aren't popular for the kids anymore. Hugs, Robin

  51. Cool cards Lisa! The background is awesome! I love the netting flowers and of course that bow....AMAZING! I love the motorcycles....I use to have a moped to and a dirt bike?! The dirt bike was my favorite til I wiped out, lol! I was on a gravel road chasing my brothers and hit some soft sand and over the top I went! Seriously took me like 2 summers before I would get back on it, hehe!!

It has been a busy week! My guys just got home...yeah! I am anxious to sleep in my own bed as I have been sleeping at my daughters. Arya talked me into sleeping in her room.....she was so spoiled, read lots of books, played outside, went for walks, had to go get ice cream a few times to!! Had a great time...but I am pooped!! Gonna play catch up on blogging, crafting and hopefully some good rest! I can't believe how tired I am, lol! I am getting old, hehe!
