Cheers!!

Happy Tuesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! You only have a few more hours left to enter my 5 Year Blogaversary Giveaway HERE!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a card to share with you using a couple of dies from the newest Die-Versions release.

I love the beautiful new Whispers Peacock die!! Those long, flowing feathers gave me the chance to try out my new Brushos...oh my gosh, I love this stuff!! I could spend hours playing with it...such gorgeous colors!! I sprinkled some Sea Green, Emerald Green, Cobalt Blue, Ultramarine and Turquoise Brushos on watercolor paper and spritzed it with water to get the swirl of colors. A little secret...I cut it from the background paper and then just covered the peacock-shaped hole with the top layer of Lemoncraft paper ;)

I also added a touch so sparkle with a Wink of Stella pen, but it's hard to see in the picture.

The border along the top is a Whispers Loopy Lace die. A Whispers Daisy Flair die was used beneath the flowers. A Wee Petites Button die was used on the beautiful ribbon from DL.ART.

On the inside, I used the new Cheers Curly Word die. I am entering this in the following challenges:

1) Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
2) Pause, Dream Enjoy Linky - Anything Goes
3) 2 Creative Chicks - Anything Goes
4) Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day :)

Well, Miss Mermaid, how fitting that a beautiful peacock would share the colors of a beautiful mermaid! And how fitting that both would be peacock-proud to be shown by your most dear and talented finger tips! Truly lovely card - the layers are both fun and imaginative, and very wonderfully colorful! I hope you are enjoying a fabulous week, Lisa. huggers, de

My sweetest friend, this is gorgeous! The peacock is a thing of beauty.. they are beautiful beyond words and you've certainly brought it to life as such. Your work with the Brushos is spectacular. The papers are so pretty, I love the loopy die, and ooooh how I love the cascading blue ribbon! The large magnolia is exquisite. I've had a whole bag of pastel magnolias since WOC released them and they remain untouched (sadly). Thank you for inspiring us yet again, my dearest Lisa! Have a sparkly day. :o)
