Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! This is my second post of the day...you can scroll down to see my April tag for the 12 Tags of 2016 challenge. It's time for another fun challenge at Scrapy Land!! The theme this week is Oh Happy Spring PLUS a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries (there are over 40 to choose from!!). You could win a $15 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land :)
For my cards I wanted to invoke thoughts of a couple in love, taking a springtime stroll in a park, stealing a kiss (actually, I really just wanted to use my new Tattered Lace Lamp Post die ;) The papers are from Annabell's Meadow from Wild Rose Studio. I used DecoArt Crackle Paste through a Prima Flourish stencil.
The bouquet of flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The gorgeous ribbon is from DL.ART, with a Poppystamps Stitched Button die on top. The tag is a La-La Land Stitched Elements die. The sentiments are from My Craft Spot (no longer in business).
Tucked among the blooms are Elizabeth Craft Curvy Leaves dies, Impression Obsession Open Scroll Vine dies, and Sue Wilson Dandelion Clock dies.
The couple are a Frantic Stamper Kissing Couple. I cut them once in black for a shadow and once in white and covered them with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice glitter. The are standing on Poppystamps Grassland Border die. The butterflies fluttering about are Impression Obsession Butterfly Set dies, also covered with SNS Crystal Ice.
To give the Tattered Lace Lamp Post die a rusted look, I covered it with Ranger Antiquities Rust Embossing Powder.
On the inside, I used a Spellbinders Curved Borders One die and an Impression Obsession Medium Butterfly die.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1) Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Butterfly Beauty
1) Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
2) Pause, Dream Enjoy Linky - Anything Goes
3) 2 Creative Chicks - Anything Goes
4) Little Scrap Pieces - Anything Goes
