Beach Life

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! It was a scorcher, here, with high temps and humidity. It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a couple of beach-themed cards to share with you today using several Die-Versions dies. If you use the code lisa15 you'll receive 15% off your regular price Die-Versions order.

With summer in full swing, I decided to created a couple of cards to celebrate fun times at the beach. I dug out some of my old DCWV Tahiti Beach papers. For this card, I used a Whispers Tiki Hut die. It was popped up with foam tape for dimension. A Whispers Stitched Nesting Squares die was used for the background.

For this card, I used the Whispers Beach House die, and I popped it up with foam tape as well. Beach was cut from a Cute Cube Life is Better at the Beach die, which is no longer available.

The tag is a Shapes Ocean Tag, which is still available in the Farewell Sale, but you better hurry before it's gone.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day :)

  9. Awesome die cut scene for those striking papers.... love it Lisa~ Glad to hear that it is scorching over there, we just had a tropical storm come sweeping through over the weekend, but it has dissipated over cooler waters already. Nothing serious, back to another great weather day, LOL!

Your dp loos like a beach towel and is perfect behind the panel of white.Tearing the word panel gives bot movement and gives the sense or water. Love how your tag and all the words complete the beach motif. Fabulous.

Yes, it was a scorcher here to! We had a storm last week Thursday which left many without power until last night! Yikes!! We were fortunate that ours was only out for 4 hours but several people within 15-30 miles from us have really had it tough not to mention having the hottest temps so far this summer. Strong winds left many with tree's down, several damaged homes and some flooding. I feel SO bad for the elderly that are dealing with the temps and then to lose power to :(
We've had a very active summer as far as the weather goes! So many thunder and lightning storms and a lot of rain. Hopefully, things settle down for a bit~crazy weather!
Hope you are enjoying your summer...getting to the beach some? I know you love it there:)
Have a great day my friend!

  28. It's a scorcher here, too, and no cool ocean breeze to soften the air! The hot colors of the stripe background works great with the beach theme silhouettes. Great look with the square of 'sky' behind the palms & hut, and I like the way you've used the word dp as 'sand' too. Adding in the bright tiny tag, perfect embellie, and such a fun summery card. TFS & Hugs. Stay cool if you can.
