Blog Break

Hello everyone and happy Friday!! This is a hard post for me to write, but I've decided to take a break from blogging. I haven't been able to find time to craft for a while now...real life is getting in the way. I just can't keep up with blogging and commenting and Facebook and Instagram, so I had to make the hard choice to step down from my design teams and take a break. Right now, I'm planning on starting fresh in the new year.

I created these cards thinking of all of you, wishing you the best while I'm gone, and celebrating the birthdays I'll miss.

I used the new My Sweet Provence papers from Lemoncraft for these cards and you can find them in my ETSY shop HERE. I'll still be making cards for my shop and I'll post some on Facebook and Instagram, so you won't be completely rid of me :) I hope you all have a wonderful end of the year, a happy Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas!! I'll miss you all while I'm gone!! Big hugs :)

Scrapy Land Challenge #110 ~ Anything Goes

Hello, everyone and happy Wednesday!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme is as always, Anything Goes Using a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from!! If you play along, you could be one of two winners of a $10 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land.

For my cards, I used beautiful papers from Lemoncraft's newest stack, Grow Old With Me, which you can find my my ETSY store.

Tucked in the back is a Prima Crochet Doily. I used Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers to cut out the clocks and the center image of the flowers.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART. Tucked beneath are Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch, Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch 2, Frantic Stamper Foliage and Impression Obsession Open Scroll Vines dies.

The sentiment was stamped on a LaLa Land Stitched Elements and heat embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I added some prills for texture.

I used a Sue Wilson Olivia die, and layered a Penny Black Doily Trio over the top.

Thank is an Avery Elle A Tag for All die. "You So Much" was stamped on a La-La Land Stitched Elements die and heat embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle White Detail embossing powder.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART.

Tucked beneath the flowers are Frantic Stamper Assorted Foliage and Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch. I also added prills for texture.

The butterfly is a Poppystamps Stitched Butterfly Trio and the top butterfly was covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice Glitter.

DL.ART Thankful Thursday #233 ~ Baby

Hello, everyone and happy Thursday!! This is a scheduled post ~ I am out of town for a few days, so I won't be able to stop by and visit until the weekend. It's time for a new Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART and the theme is Baby, or you could always substitute a Thank You card. If you use the code LF222, Diana will give you a 10% discount to shop at DL.ART.

I couldn't decide which color of baby card to make, so I made four :) The papers are all from Lemoncraft, which you can find in my Etsy Store HERE. A XCut Doily die was used in the background. The onsie is a My Creative Time Hello Baby die, as is the adorable little elephant and the sentiment. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This beautiful ribbon is Primrose from The Spring Bundle #1.

This ribbon is Mint from the Spring Bundle #2.

This ribbon is Baby Blue from The Baby Bundle.

And this gorgeous ribbon is Baby Pink from The Baby Bundle.

I used a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen on the adorable elephant so he shimmers. He was colored with watercolors.

Nuvo Jewel Drops in Simple White were added to the corner.

Hello, everyone and happy Wednesday!! For the top two layers of this card, I used Avery Elle Wonky Stitches die. Prills were added for texture.

Tucked between the layers is a Jeanine's Art Classic Butterflies and Flowers Doily die. I have wanted the Marianne Passe Partout Round die for a long, long time, so I was super-excited when Scrapy Land had a special order of European dies!! Be on the lookout for these special orders...you can pick up some hard-to-get dies!! Happy is an Avery Elle Tag for All die. Birthday was stamped on a LaLaLand Stitched Elements die and heat embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle Amethyst Embossing Powder.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART. Tucked beneath are Frantic Stamper Assorted Foliage dies and Elizabeth Craft Curvy Leaves dies.

Guess what die I used on the inside??!! If you said the Karen Burniston Twist Panel Pop-Up die, you'd be correct!! Yep, totally addicted :)

Make A was heat embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle White Detail Embossing Powder. Wish is a Poppystamps Wish die. It was covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice glitter.

Celebrating 8 Years with Carson's Creations

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! Today we are celebrating Carson's Creations 8 year blogaversary!! Georgiana has been creating amazing and inspiring projects for eight years and we've been blog buddies almost that long!! I'm so excited to be sharing this celebration with her today :)

MY PROJECT!!

Since we are celebrating Janis' blog birthday, I created two celebrate shaker cards. I've used Lemoncraft's Yesterday papers, which you can find in my Etsy Store HERE. To cut the frame for the shaker, I used a Frantic Stamper Art Deco Frame. Celebrate is a Penny Black Doodles die.

The ribbon is from DL.ART (use the code LF222 for a 10% discount) and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Tucked under the flowers and cut with Lemoncraft Leaves paper (in my ETSY store HERE) are Memory Box Chloe Stems, Sue Wilson Orange Blossom Leaves, and Concord & 9th Layering Leaves. I added prills for texture, too. It's hard to tell in the pictures, but the butterflies have been brushed with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss pen for sparkle.

I filled this shaker with Tonic Studios Nuvo Pure Sheen Cross My Heart Glitter.

This one was filled with Tonic Studios Nuvo Pure Sheen Peacock Feathers.
