Birthday Wishes Die-Versions Post

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! We were in the high 60's here!! Unheard of for January!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a couple of cards with you today using dies from the newest release. If you use the code lisa15 when you are shopping at Die-Versions, you'll receive a 15% discount on all regular priced items (not to be combined with other sales or promotions).

For these cards, I used papers from Maja Designs. A Whispers Bricks Background die cut in heavyweight cardstock and added next.

Next, I used a Whispers Butterfly Collage die, but it's a little hard to see. Tucked under the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers is the new Whispers Flourish die.

The butterfly is a Wee Petites Buggy die, and it was covered in Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice glitter. The beautiful crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART.

For the sentiment, I used one of the new Whispers Tag Set dies.

Scrapy Land Challenge #58 - Favorite Color

Happy Wednesday!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme this week is Favorite Color plus a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries...there are over 40 to choose from!! You could win a $15 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land!!

I bet you can guess my favorite color :) Yep, pink!! I started with papers from Craft and You.

On the background, I used a Wild Rose Studio Floral Frame behind the Sue Wilson Pierced Tag.

A Prima Crochet Doily die was placed behind the Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Rectangle. The banner is a Sue Wilson Pierced Flag die. Happy Birthday is from Lawn Fawn (I cut off the To You). The beautiful crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART.

Tucked among the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers are Elizabeth Craft Curvy Leaves and Cheery Lynn Dandelions. The flourish along the bottom is a Precious Marieke Swirl Border. The butterflies are Impression Obsession Medium Butterflies, and they were covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice glitter.

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Scrapy Land to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge!! Then link up your Favorite Color project using a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

Try It On Tuesday Guest Designer

Happy Tuesday, everyone!! I'm so excited to be a guest designer today for Try It One Tuesday!! The theme for the challenge is "Anything But Square". You can make any project for this challenge, as long as it isn't square.

I have a dear friend who is going through a difficult time and I wanted to let her know I was thinking of her. The papers are from Authentique. I started with a Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Circle, and then a Grand Circle for the base of the cards.

A TCW Art Is Stencil was used with texture paste. A Prima Persian Lace stencil was cut in half and applied on the the top and bottom for the base of the flowers.

Tucked under the Wild Orchid Craft flowers are Sue Wilson Mosaic Leaves and Memory Box Chloe Stems, along with cheesecloth and baby's breath. The beautiful crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART.

The butterfly is a Fiskars punch. The sentiments were embossed with gold embossing powder on a vellum banner, cut with a Joy Crafts Banner die.

Head on over to Try it On Tuesday to see the amazing projects the talented design team have created for today's challenge!! Then I hope you'll join in with your Anything But Square project!! I want to sincerely thank Avril and the DT for having me guest design with them today!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day :)
