Die-Versions - Inspired By Stamping Blog Hop!!

* This is my second post of the day. For the Craftin' Desert Divas Stamp Release, click HERE *

Hi everyone!! Welcome to the Inspired by Stamping and Die-Versions Blog Hop. Twenty two talented designers have united to celebrate the new season and shake off the malaise of a snowy winter. Yay!! Inspired by Stamping, which designs and manufactures the highest quality of photopolymer stamps that bring superior stamping to all crafters, has teamed up with Die-Versions, makers of low profile metal dies which works with virtually every machine out there and cuts through most materials, to create this special eye candy of Spring themed projects.

One lucky "hopper" will get a total prize package of $100 in gift certificates, a $50 gift certificate from Inspired by Stamping AND Die-Versions, so you can stock up on some awesome products both of these companies have to offer.

For your chance to win the grand prize, visit all of the participating blogs, leaving a comment at each, then leave a comment telling us what you like the most about Spring at the Inspired by Stamping blog. All comments entered between now and April 28th at 10pm (Pacific time) will be eligible for the grand prize.

All of the papers, flowers and lace for my cards are from Inspired By Stamping. The edges were distressed with a Zutter Distress-It-All.

I used the new Die-Versions Good Times Sweet Frames for the centerpiece. It was cut once in the patterned paper and once in black cardstock and then offset for a subtle shadow effect. It was popped up with foam tape for dimension. Timeless Memories is from Inspired By Stamping's Arrows Stamp Set. The button in the center of the bow is a Die-Versions Button Wee Petite Die.

The papers, flowers and lace for the second card are also from Inspired By Stamping. The new Die-Versions Circles Background Die was used for the background. The Celebrate stamp on the bottom is from Inspired By Stamping's Chalkboard Birthday stamp set. The button in the center of the bow is a Die-Versions Button Wee Petite Die.

The sentiment was created from Inspired By Stamping's Chalkboard Birthday stamp set. It was heat embossed with white embossing powder and then shaded with chalk for a chalkboard look.

Here's a sneak of a project I have on the Die-Versions blog featuring the new Die-Versions Circles Background Die, the new Die-Versions Butterfly Punch Border Die and a Die-Versions Butterfly Kisses die.

Your next stop on the hop is Lori Kobular. If you ever get lost in the hop, you can always go back to the beginning, Die-Versions blog, for the complete order list.

More Stencil Projects :)

Happy Thursday, everyone!! Are you getting tired of my stencil projects yet?? I have a couple more to share with you today :) Before I get to them, I want to tell all my friends in the south that are now getting hammered with snow and ice that I am thinking of you and praying for your safety.

For this card, Tim Holtz Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet Distress Inks were sponged through a Crafter's Workshop Harlequin stencil. The tag was cut with a TH Tiny Tabs & Tags die in vellum. The sentiment is from JustRite Stamps Grateful Hearts Vintage Labels 2 set. It was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Pink gems from The Paper Studio and a clear sequin were added, along with pink and white twine.

For this card, Tim's Rays stencil was inked with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. Then his Clockwork stencil was inked on top with Iced Spruce. Finally, Tim's Stripes stencil was inked with Peeled Paint and Mowed Grass, some of the stripes masked off. The sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping, using Donna Salazar's Mix'd Media ink in Jasmine on vellum. A Spellbinders Classic Heart was cut out and the panel was adhered with foam tape. A Dylusions Around The Edge stamp was stamped on the bottom panel in Iced Spruce and blue gems from The Paper Studio were added.

I am entering these in the following challenges:
  1. Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything with Twine
  2. DL.Art - January Linky
  3. Just B Creative Crazy - January Linky
  4. 2 Creative Chicks - Anything Goes
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I only have one more stencil project to share with you later this week :)

Stenciled Day 4 - Part 2

And for the second card, I used another fun technique from Stenciled...embossing with stencils.

A piece of heavyweight cardstock from Canvas Corp was embossed with a Crafter's Workshop Cosmic Swirls stencil. The stencil was then placed back over the paper and it was inked with Tim Holtz Tattered Rose, Spiced Marmalade and Crushed Olive Distress Inks. A strip of washi tape was placed down the left side and then the embossed paper was placed on the base of the card. The bird is from Tim's Urban Tapestry stamp set. The edges of the paper were distressed with scissors. I was supposed to use a glassine bag behind the image but I couldn't find any in my very messy craft room, so I used a piece of TH Frosted Film. Unfortunately, it doesn't even show up in the picture. The sentiment is from Inspired By Stamping and it was heat embossed with white embossing powder and attached with Tim's Tiny Attacher. Silver sequins were then added.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

  2. Just B Creative Crazy - January Linky
  3. 2 Creative Chicks - Anything Goes

Paper Playtime Challenge #89 - Anything Goes!!

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a great weekend!! It was beautiful November weather here - sunny with temps in the 60's...perfect for a Fall cookout :)

It's the third Monday of the month, so that means it's time for a Paper Playtime Say it With Sentiments challenge. Our sponsor this week is The Robin's Nest. One lucky participant will receive a $15.00 gift certificate to the store.

I made a tag for my project. The tag was cut from a Tim Holtz Movers & Shapers Tag and Bookplates die. The paper is from Fancy Pants Country Boutique paper stack. The edges were inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink. The flowers are Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms dies. The gem swirl is from Recollections and the crinkle ribbon is from my sweet friend Karen of Little Scrap Pieces. "Thinking of You" is from Inspired By Stamping's Big Notes stamp set. The three light blue Dew Drops on the bottom are from our sponsor this week, The Robin's Nest.

The butterfly is a Spellbinders Wonderful Wings die. It was covered with a light coat of Glossy Accents and then sprinkled with glitter before the crystals were added.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. DL.Art Thankful Thursday Challenge - Anything Goes
  2. Sunday Funday #3 - Linky Party
Now it's your turn...head on over to Paper Playtime to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Anything Goes project. I can't wait to see what you create :)
