Live The Life You Want!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday, everyone!! I hope you are having a great day!! Are you getting ready to watch the big game?? It is being played about an hour away from me, so it has pretty much been Super Bowl hype around here for two weeks :) I don't really care who wins...though I would like Eli Manning to win since his brother Peyton is my all-time favorite player :)

Before the game starts, I spent a little time in my craft room today and I have a card to enter into a few challenges.

For this card I used my current favorite paper, My Mind's Eye from the Lost and Found stack. I inked all of the edges with Tim Holtz Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. I used an EK Success punch for the pink background paper and the edge of the music paper. The music paper was white, and I inked it with Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose Distress Ink. "Live the Life You Want" is from K Andrew Designs Positive Thoughts stamp set. Click HERE to purchase this set!!

For the tag with the Eiffel Tower, I stitched the edges with my Sew Crafty machine. I just ordered a new mini-sewing machine and I can't wait to use it and get rid of the little cheap thing. It is barely a step up from stitching by hand! I cut the scalloped rectangles from Designer's Calendar. The postage stamp and post card stamps are from TPC Studio. "Je t'aime" is a K Andrew Designs stamp from the I Heart You stamp set. Click HERE to purchase your own set!!

On the pullout, I used a Tim Holtz clock stamp, and "XOXO" from K Andrew Designs It's Valentines stamp set. Click HERE to order this set or to see her entire line of fabulous stamps!

The inspiration for this card is from the Crop Stop Challenge, to use numbers and this sketch:

I am entering the card at the following challenges:
  1. Crop Stop Challenge #56 - Numbers + Becky Fleck Sketch
  2. Little Scrap Pieces - Use Pink
  3. DL.Art Thankful Thursday - Anything Goes
  4. Cardz TV Challenge #5 - Tickled Pink
My friend Denise from LaLa's World, attended CHA last week and snapped this awesome pic for me:

Isn't it fabulous??!! Tim Holtz could use this for promos!! Thank you again, Denise!! I'm adding this permanently to my sidebar :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great evening :)

So pretty my friend!! I love all the distressing you did to this fabulous card. It looks so awesome! I love the Eiffel Tower and the cute postage stamp and post card stamp-so super cute! The added lace to your project looks perfect and your sewing....wow, you did amazing with the Sew Crafty. I had to give that up-not working for me and frustrating me so out the door it went. I really like the stitched look though:) Nice job as always!! Enjoy the game and the rest of the wknd..whats left anyway!

You know I've been DROOLING over this card -- It is so beautiful -- Every time I look at it I see another little detail... And today I'm just noticing that you used the Lost and Found paper (I was thinking at 2am when I was finishing my DTC project that I wanted to look at this again and see if this was that... and it is -- Did you follow that???)...

Oh, and THANKS... Now I want a sewing machine too!! :)
