Celebrate Your Day!!

Happy Monday!! I hope you had wonderful weekend!! I managed a little time in my craft room this weekend when I wasn't outside. Late afternoon storms drove me inside so I made use of the time to make some card and get some DT commitments done :)

I have a birthday card to share with you today, using gorgeous Nature's Garden paper from Prima.

The base of the card and the bottom layer are Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles dies, the edges lightly inked with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink. The bottom layer was cut in half and the lower half attached on three sides, leaving the top open for the tag.

The center layers are from the Radiant Rectangles, with a Spellbinders Classic Ovals Small in between and inked with Antique Linen. The flower is a Spellbinders Bitty Blossom die, the edges rolled and inked with TH Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.

The two layers of the tag are from the Radiant Rectangles set. Both sentiments are from the JustRite Stamps Grand Sentiments set. They were stamped first in Victorian Velvet and then Versafine Onyx ink. The ribbon is from my dear friend Karen of Little Scrap Pieces.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. DL.Art - Anything Goes Linky Party
  2. Sunday Funday #10- June Anything Goes
  3. My Sheri Crafts #113 - Happy Birthday America (any birthday card)
  4. Pause, Dream, Enjoy - Anything Goes
  5. Inspire Me Friday - Anything Goes
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

  31. My sweetest friend, this card is filled with such beauty! I love the base... that's nearly the rectangular one I chose! It's so exquisite. I love the papers you used for this card and how you used one of the beautiful Prima patterns for the base itself. Gosh, the colors are just so dreamy. The rose on top of the pocket is stunning! Teh sentiments pop right up at us, like they're already celebrating the big day. :o) The tag is equally mesmerizing, my talented friend. Karen's ribbon is the perfect touch. I hope you know how extra-loved the recipient will feel upon receiving this handmade masterpiece. Brilliantly done as always, Lisa. :o) I hope you're having a wonderful day and that your mom is on the mend! :o)

    Hugs and blessings!
