Trick or Treat for Adults :)

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! I have a favor to ask all of my sweet followers. I have decided to take the leap and ask Santa for a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas. I've held out this long, mostly because I love dies so much. But there are a few things I'd love to make that I can't with dies. So...if any of you see a really good sale on a Cameo, please let me know :)

I have a tag to share with you today...I like to think of it as a Trick or Treat gift for adults ;)

The tags are from My Creative Times Tag and Tag Layers dies. For this tag, heavyweight black cardstock from The Paper Studio was covered with double sided sticky tape. The spiders and spider webs are from My Craft Spot's Halloween Shapes die set. They were adhered to the sticky tape and then the tag was covered with Doodlebug's Sugar Coating for an awesome sparkle. The spider web along the bottom is from My Craft Spot's Fancy Edges - Halloween. The crinkle ribbon is from my sweet friend Karen of Little Scrap Pieces.

The tag is from My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags and the sentiment is from MCS's Batty For You stamp set.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. My Craft Spot - Trick or Treat
  2. DL.Art - October Linky
  3. Little Scrap Pieces - Show It Off Saturday
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day :)

Great Spooky creations! I have to say that I love my Cricut Explore! It will do the same things the Cameo will do. I watched a video where they compared them side by side. They compared until you got to the tiniest of cuts. Good Luck with what ever you get from Santa! Happy Hump Day!

This is a beautiful tag, Lisa! I love all the glitter! The spiders look so neat with the googly eyes and the way you have them doubled up to create a shadow! Awesome dies too! Sorry I don't have any advice about the Cameo. All I have is a Cuttlebug but I'm very happy with it! Have a great evening, my friend!

Oooh I think any adult would be ever so lucky with this Treat you have concocted. Creative Tag Bliss...

It just seems like more people use the Cameo, but I don't necessarily have a preference. I would also consider the Cricut Explore. Do you have either machine? If so, what do you think of it?

A very impressive way to dress up this adult Trick or Treat item. Very scary too! That textured ribbon is so just right with this project as well. Thanks again for all your help with the code, and I certainly appreciated all the time you spent helping me. The problem is probably something with the existing code, not the code added for the P button. Hopefully someone can give me a hand. I sent 2 contact emails to the link you had given me, but I'm not sure either of them actually 'sent'. Havent heard anything back as yet. As long as the blog still works ok, guess it's not a critical problem, just annoying that something is not 'right' TFS & Hugs. Hope the evening is storm free in your area.

My sweetest friend, your tag is fabulous! I love how you've incorporated so many marvelous My Craft Spot goodies... you always do that so well. :o) **happy dance** The border looks amazing and all of the sugary sparkle is perfect! Such a fun way to dress up an adult gift. ;) Wonderfully designed as always, my dearest Lisa! I'm still on the look-out for a Cameo for you and will let you know if I find an awesome deal. Have a sparkly night. :o)

Hugs and blessings,
Karen

Ooooh I love this tag!! The spiders are adorable and I love how this dresses up the bottle! I've been debating on the Cameo versus the Explore this whole year not sure which way to go. I have 3 older Cricuts and I do love them but I see the advantage in the intricate cuts you get with the other 2. I can't wait to see what amazing things you craft up when you get yours :)
