The top layer of the Tonic Jeweled Crown Double Detail die on this one was covered with Red Apple and heat embossed. I added drops of Nuvo Glitter Accents Fresh Snowfall for texture. Sending a Winter Hi for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you featuring the Snowflake Penguin Rubber Bundle 868-913P20.

To make my cards, I adhered Tear-ific Tape ½” to the edges of cardstock and then sprinkled on Sapphire and heat embossed it. I then used Tear-ific Tape 2” to adhere the layers together.

For the next layer, I used a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the large snowflakes from the Snowflake Penguin Rubber Bundle 868-913P20 with Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and heat embossed them with Silver Pearl embossing powder. Then I sprinkled Nuvo Shimmer Powder Blue Blitz over cardstock and spritzed it with Nuvo Mica Mist Nebula Blue. I inked the edges of the paper with Nuvo Hybrid Ink Pad Sea Siren Polar Ice and Laguna Bay. I stamped the smaller snowflakes from the Snowflake Penguin Rubber Bundle 868-913P20 and then embossed them with Silver Detail and cut them out with a circle punch.

Using a stencil, I applied Nuvo Glimmer Paste Moonstone for some added shimmer.

Isn't he a cutie??!! I used a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp Dancing Penguin Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and heat embossed it with Black Detail. He was then colored with Spectrum Noir Markers and I then gave his coat and hat some shimmer with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen. Using a Nuvo Glue Pen Large, I sprinkled on White Detail and heat embossed it...I love the look!! For the bell on his hat, I used a Nuvo Smooth Precision Glue Pen and then heat embossed it with Gold Coast.

To make him dance, I put him on a Action Wobble 1 ½”!! The icicles were covered with Sparkling Snow glitter. I used a Glitter Brush to brush off the extra glitter. A Season of Cheer for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a couple of Christmas cards to share with you today featuring the new Happy Holidays stamp set.

For these cards, I started by adhering Tear-ific Tape ½” to heavyweight cardstock and then heat embossing it with Japanese Lacquer embossing powder.

For my winter-themed card, I used Elizabeth Craft Skis die for the mountains. I applied Super-Adhesive Sheets to cardstock and cut the mountains, and then covered them with Diamond Dust glitter for amazing sparkle.

Here's a close-up of the gorgeous Diamond Dust. The trees are a Tim Holtz Tree Line die, also covered with Super-Adhesive Sheets and then covered with Victorian Christmas glitter. The snowflakes are Impression Obsession dies, and they were brushed with Brushable Glue and then covered with Sparkly Snow glitter. A drop of Nuvo Crystal Drops Red Berry was used in the center of the snowflake.

The gorgeous sentiment was stamped with a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform with Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and then embossed with Winter Berry embossing powder. It was then cut out with a Tonic Mixed Edge Oval die.

The flowers were made with foamiran from Wild Orchid Crafts and shaped with Tonic Floral Crafters Tool. The ribbon is from DL.ART.

To create the red berries, I used beads and hot-glued them to the posts. Once they dried, I snipped off the tops and then dipped them into Brushable Glue.

I then covered them with Gypsy Red glitter and popped them into Styrofoam to dry.

DL.ART Thankful Thursday #194 - Any Winter Holiday

Happy Thursday, everyone!! It's time for a new Thankful Thursday challenge at DL.ART!! The theme with week is Any Winter Holiday. If you used the code l01210, Diana will give you 10% off your purchase at DL.ART.

For my cards, I used papers from Lemoncrafts Christmas Greetings stack.

Texture paste was applied through a stencil for the background.

The mountains are an Elizabeth Crafts Skis die. They were embossed and then given a dusting of snow (DecoArt Snow Writer and Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice glitter).

The sleigh is an Xcut Reindeer and Sleigh die. I used the same technique as the sled on yesterday's card...DecoArt Crackle Texture Paste and then when it dried, it was covered with DecoArt Antiquing Cream and then wiped off, leaving it in the cracks.

A Joy Crafts Banner die was cut with textured vellum. Merry Christmas was embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle White Detail Embossing Powder.

The poinsettias are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Tucked underneath are Impression Obsession Pine Sprigs and Impression Obsession Pine Branch dies. This gorgeous crinkle ribbon is Christmas Green from the Traditional Christmas Bundle.

It's a little hard to see in the pictures, but a Precious Marieke Snowflake Border die is along the bottom of the woodgrain paper. Dec 25 is a My Creative Time die, covered in Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice glitter. This beautiful ribbon is Christmas Red from the Traditional Christmas Bundle.

Real Love Stories Never Have Endings

Happy Sunday!! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!! My parents are celebrating their anniversary tomorrow so I made time to visit my craft room to create a card for them :)

For some reason, I had trouble photographing these cards. Not sure why :/ I used papers from Lemoncraft's Tiny Miracles stack.

The frame is a KaiserCraft Circle Vines die. It was heat embossed with Shabby White Frantage. Glittered mesh from Joann was cut with a Memory Box Stitched Circles die and applied behind the frame. A Sue Wilson Pierced Flags die was used for the sentiment from My Craft Spot (no longer in business). It was heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle. The heart is from My Creative Time and it was covered with SNS Crystal Ice.

A Sue Wilson Pierced Tag was used in the background, with white twine from DL.ART. The pictures don't do justice to the gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. The ribbon is Chalk White from DL.ART. The hearts along the bottom are a Frantic Stamper Love Accessory die and it was covered in SNS Crystal Ice.

One the inside, I used one of my new Carabella Spring dies. I added the hearts that came from the Frantic Stamper die on the front...they are also glittered with SNS Crystal Ice.

Because I can never just make one card, I made another in the same style :) Once again, it was very hard to photograph this and I don't know why.

The details are pretty much the same except this sentiment is from My Creative Time. The butterfly is a Fiskars punch.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

1) Frilly and Funkie - What a Mesh (cheesecloth and glittered mesh)
2) Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
3) Little Scrap Pieces Show if Off Saturday - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)
