Enjoy the LIttle Things for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a shaker card to share with you today featuring the new My Wild Rose Stamp Set.

To create this card, I started with Tear-ific Tape ½” along the edges of cardstock and then I heat embossed it with Black Detail embossing powder.

Then I covered cardstock with a Super-Adhesive Sheet and sprinkled on Tangerine glitter.

To create the shaker, I used Tonic Mixed Edge Oval dies. After brushing watercolor paper with an Anti Static Bag, the rose from My Wild Rose was stamped with Versamark Embossing Ink Pad using a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and then heat embossed with Black Detail. After the rose was watercolored, I then created a mask of the flower and spritzed on Nuvo Mica Mist Fresh Pear. After I removed the mask, I used a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Midas Touch Glitter Gloss Pen to give the rose a beautiful subtle gold shimmer.

I also used Nuvo Mica Mist Fresh Pear on the banner and Tonic Mixed Edge Oval. The sentiment was embossed with Forest Green embossing powder

Scrapy Land Challenge #91 ~ Anything Goes

Hello, everyone and happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week :) It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme, as always is Anything Goes Plus a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from!! If you play along, you could be one of two winners of a $10 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land.

I needed a special card for a dear friend, so I couldn't wait to use the Uchi's Bird Circle Slider die. It's so fun!! The bird "flies" and tweets hearts when you move the slider :)

To make the slider, I used a Concord and 9th Happy Card Frame banner die, and then layered a heart from the same set over a flower from Cheery Lynn Floral Bouquet set.

The butterfly is a Poppystamps Stitched Butterfly Trio die and Celebrate is from Elizabeth Craft Celebrate die.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART. Tucked beneath the flowers are Memory Box Chloe, Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch and Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch 5.

Celebrating 8 Years with Carson's Creations

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! Today we are celebrating Carson's Creations 8 year blogaversary!! Georgiana has been creating amazing and inspiring projects for eight years and we've been blog buddies almost that long!! I'm so excited to be sharing this celebration with her today :)
