Enjoy the LIttle Things for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a shaker card to share with you today featuring the new My Wild Rose Stamp Set.

To create this card, I started with Tear-ific Tape ½” along the edges of cardstock and then I heat embossed it with Black Detail embossing powder.

Then I covered cardstock with a Super-Adhesive Sheet and sprinkled on Tangerine glitter.

To create the shaker, I used Tonic Mixed Edge Oval dies. After brushing watercolor paper with an Anti Static Bag, the rose from My Wild Rose was stamped with Versamark Embossing Ink Pad using a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and then heat embossed with Black Detail. After the rose was watercolored, I then created a mask of the flower and spritzed on Nuvo Mica Mist Fresh Pear. After I removed the mask, I used a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Midas Touch Glitter Gloss Pen to give the rose a beautiful subtle gold shimmer.

I also used Nuvo Mica Mist Fresh Pear on the banner and Tonic Mixed Edge Oval. The sentiment was embossed with Forest Green embossing powder

Celebrate the Season for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Tuesday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a card to share with you featuring the new Cardinal and Holly stamp set.

To start off, I applied Tear-ific Tape ½” to the edges of cardstock and then covered it with Cloud Nine glitter. The next layer was covered with Luau Green glitter.

Tonic Jasmine Sunset Layering Dies were used for the next layers. The bottom layer was brushed with Brushable Glue and then covered  Gypsy Red glitter.

The beautiful cardinal from the Cardinal and Holly stamp set was stamped with the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform using Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and then heat embossed with Black Detail embossing powder. It was then watercolored and once dry, brushed with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen for shimmer. I then cut it out and popped it up for dimension.

For the leaves, after they were watercolored, I used a Nuvo Glue Pen Smooth Precision and then added Luau Green glitter. The berries are Nuvo Crystal Drops Red Berry.

Using Tear-ific Tape 2” over cardstock, I cut out a Tonic Mixed Edge Oval and then covered it with Red Apple and heat embossed it for a cracked look. The sentiment is from the Christmas Baubles stamp set, also embossed with Red Apple.

Merry and Bright for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you featuring the New Christmas Baubles stamp set.

On the base of the card, I applied Tear-ific Tape ½” to the edges and then heat embossed it with Gold Detail embossing powder. For the next layer, I again covered it with Tear-ific Tape ½” and then covered it with Gypsy Red glitter.

For the next layer, after using a Anti Static Bag over the surface of the cardstock, I used a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the holly image from the Christmas Baubles set several times with Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and then heat embossed it with Gold Detail embossing powder. I also embossed the sentiment with Gold Detail embossing powder. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink to highlight the embossing.

The berries are Nuvo Crystal Drops Red Berry.

For the poinsettia, I covered a Wild Orchid Crafts poinsettia with Brushable Glue and then covered it with Starfire glitter. Isn't the sparkle amazing??!!

The ornament was stamped with a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform with a Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and then heat embossed it with Gold Detail. It was then colored with watercolors and once dry, I used a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen to give it shimmer. I then used Nuvo Crystal Drops SimplyWhite for dimension, and while it was wet, I sprinkled it with Cloud Nine glitter for some added sparkle. Using Tonic Spring-Cut Fine Tip Detail Scissors 6.5”, I cut the ornament out and popped it up with foam tape for dimension.

Amazing You for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a card to share with you today featuring the newly released Amazing You - Paisley Elephant stamp set.

SNS is starting something new this month. Instead of a traditional blog hop, the designers will begin showcasing the new stamp sets on the 5th of each month, and a winner of a $20 gift certificate to shop at SNS will be chosen at the end of each month. The winner will be chosen from comments left on both the SNS Blog and a mystery designer's blog.

This isn't my usual style, but I wanted to showcase some of the amazing Embossing Powders and Glitters that SNS carries. On the base layer, I applied Tear-ific Tape ¼” to the edges and then sprinkled on Ebony Spark Embossing Powder and heat set it.

I absolutely love the next layer!! I applied a Super Adhesive Sheet to cardstock and then sprinkled on Copper Flame Embossing Powder. This is a mixed media powder and it creates the most amazing texture!!

Here's another look at those fabulous nooks and crannies :)

Using a Tonic Tonic Mixed Edge Oval die, I cut the ovals and then applied Brushable Glue on the bottom one and covered it with Ultrafine Glitter Flesh. I cut the scalloped edge oval with cardstock covered with a Super Adhesive Sheet. It was then covered with Platinum Detail Embossing Powder and heat embossed.

Using a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, I stamped the Amazing You - Paisley Elephant with Versamark Embossing Ink and heat set it with Gold Detail. I then cut it out with Tonic Spring-Cut Fine Tip Detail Scissors and popped it up with foam tape for dimension.

Using the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, the sentiment was stamped with Versamark Embossing Ink and heat set it with Gold Detail. The brads were also dipped in Versamark and heat set with Gold Detail.

Here's a close-up of all the glitters and embossing powders.

Be sure to leave a comment both here and then head on over to the SNS Blog and leave a comment there as well for your chance to win a $20 gift card to SNS!!
