Over The Moooon!

I hope you all had a great hump day! I have been having internet service provider problems all day long. I can only get online for about five minutes at a time every two hours or so. Grr, so frustrating. They are "working" on the problem, so I don't know when it will be fixed. I'm trying to visit blogs when I can and sneak in comments.

I love easel cards and haven't made one in a while, so I decided to create one to enter into the Cooking With Cricut Challenge #40 - cows.
I purchased the Nursery Rhymes cart a couple of months ago and haven't had a chance to use it yet. When I saw that Cooking With Cricut challenge was a cow, I thought this cut would be perfect! I cut the cow jumping over the moon at 5" twice in yellow and once in white. I cut the stars away from the moon and inked the edges with blue chalk on one of the yellow cuts and then adhered it to the other yellow cutout. I cut the white cow off and used Swiss Dots on him and a black marker for his hooves. I cut black patches and glued them on for his spots, and added googly eyes. I tried adding a smile, but it looked too goofy, so I had to cut a new cow and try again! I pasted him on with foam dots so it would look like he was actually jumping over the moon. I added crystals to all the stars with my iRock to make them glitter. The yellow ribbon of stars is from Hobby Lobby.
Over The Moon was also cut from Nursery Rhymes and I ran the yellow shadow through the Swiss Dots folder and added a crystal to the star. The deep blue sparkly background paper is from Core Couture.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful evening :)

How sweet is this?! You are seriously flawless at creating scenes. I LOVE how you cut away some of the stars and that ribbon of stars is perfect for this project. Gorgeous embossing (it always adds so much, doesn't it?) and I love all the glittery touches and googly eyes. Excellent job as always, my friend! I hope your internet behaves itself soon. :o)

Hugs and blessings! :o)

How ironic Lisa that you did a cow over the moon when you are more than likely ready to send your internet provider over the moon!!!

Ok, thought you would get a kick out of that! The card did come out cute though! :)
