Thank You So Much

Happy Friday, everyone and Happy Halloween!! Did you dress up today?? If so, what was your costume?? Wow, it's been almost a week since I've posted. I had family visiting from Seattle and have been trying to catch up since they left, but it's overwhelming. If I haven't been around to your blog to visit, I will soon :)

It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog HERE and I have a project to share with you using two of the newest dies from the October release.

The papers are from My Mind's Eye and the edges have been lightly distressed with a Zutter DIA. A new Die-Versions Cut Out Thank You die was used for the focal point of this card. These cut out dies are so awesome - you can position them anywhere on the page and the sentiment just stands out so beautifully.

"So Much" is from the new Typewriter Font die set. The butterflies are Wee Petites Buggy dies. They were covered in sugar coating and popped up with foam tape.

The matching envelope features a Whispers Butterfly Kisses die also covered in sugar coating. The border along the top is a Whispers Lacy Dots die.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I have some exciting news to share with you next week so I hope you will stop back by!! Have a wonderful weekend!! :)

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Blog Hop!!

Happy Saturday!! Welcome to the My Craft Spot Blog Hop, celebrating Kimberly's new release!! All of the new stamps and SVG files are now available for purchase HERE!! Each stop on this hop is also giving away a $10 gift certificate to My Craft Spot!!

You should have arrived here from Gwen of This and That!! If you've just stumbled upon my blog, head on over to My Craft Spot to start at the beginning...you won't want to miss a single stop :)

I absolutely love every stamp set in this new release. I wanted to showcase as many of the fabulous sentiments as possible, so I decided to make an advent calendar to count down the days until Christmas :) One of my favorite decorations to put up at Christmastime when I was young was the Advent Calendar. My sister and I fought over who got to open the little door each day...meaning another day closer to Christmas :) Warning - this is picture-heavy!!

All of the papers for the tags are from old My Mind's Eye Christmas stacks. The Peace banner was created with My Craft Spot's Tiny Banners & Toppers. The letters for Peace and Advent Calendar are from MCS's Small Alphabet dies. The banners are MCS Ribbon Banners Straight dies. They were cut in double sided adhesive and then after the letters were adhered, I applied Sugar Coating over the rest of the adhesive for a beautiful sparkle :)

The flowers are Spellbinders Poinsettia dies and the swirls are from Cheery Lynn. MCS Tiny Tags dies were used for the sentiment from the new Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set. The snowflake is from MCS's Small Alphabet dies and the crinkle ribbon is MCS Snow White Crinkle Ribbon.

Since there are so many tags, I'm not going to go into detail on all that was used except for the stamps. The tag on the left is from Christmas Chalkboard Sentiments and the sequins are MCS Snow Flurries Sequins. The tag on the right is from Merry & Bright. The gorgeous Twine is also from MCS.

Christmas Chalkboard Sentiments on the left and Merry & Bright on the right.

On the left is from O Holy Night stamp and on the right Naughty or Nice. MCS Snow Flurries Sequins were used on the tag on the right.

Naughty or Nice was used on the left and Merry & Bright on the right. Christmas Joy was stamped on a MCS Lacy Banner die.

Naughty or Nice was used on the left and O Holy Night on the right. The sequins are MCS Snow Flurries Sequins.

Merry & Bright was used on the left and O Holy Night on the right.

O Holy Night was used on the right. Ho Ho Ho is from Tiny Tags Christmas and Dear Santa is from Naughty or Nice. It was stamped on a MCS Tiny Doily die.

Naughty or Nice was used on the left. On the right, the sentiments are from to to bottom: Naughty or Nice, Merry & Bright, O Holy Night and Christmas Chalkboard. The ribbon is Scarlet Red Crinkle Ribbon from MCS.

Both sentiments are from O Holy Night. The banner on the right is a MCS Ribbon Banners Straight die.

Christmas Chalkboard Sentiments were used for both of these tags. Silent Night is one of my favorite Christmas songs so I used it on the best day of the year imho - my birthday ;) The snowflakes on the left are MCS's Small Alphabet dies and MCS Snow Flurries Sequins on the right.

Merry & Bright was used on the left and Christmas Chalkboard Sentiments on the right.

Merry & Bright was used for both sentiments. The banner is a MCS Ribbon Banners Straight die on the right.

Welcome to the Die Versions Think Pink Blog Hop!! October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so the Die-Versions Design Team wanted to bring Breast Cancer Awareness to our crafty friends. The sentiment is from Craftin' Desert Diva's Be Inspired stamp set.

And finally, I have this card featuring one of my very favorite Die-Versions dies, Whispers Hairdo. The papers are from Prima and the edges were distressed. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
