Rock The Party

Click HERE to enter my My Memories Giveaway!!

Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend! It seems like forever that I have entered any challenges and I'm having withdrawal! So keeping three of my fav's in mind, I created decorations for a teenage girl's birthday party: a wall sign, a birthday card and a place card.
For this project I used paper from Road Show by Fancy Pants. I absolutely love this paper stack...it is so gorgeous!  For the wall sign, I adhered the background paper to cardboard to make it sturdy. The guitar is from Rock Princess cut at 7" and attached with foam tape for dimension. I used the stamp Sweet from the  K Andrew Design Fall-O-Ween set. The small skull in the bottom corner is also from Rock Princess, cut at 1 1/2" and attached with foam tape. The flowers are from Flower Shoppe and the music notes are from Gyspy Wanderings at 1". I used my Gypsy to weld the words together, using Base Camp, and again attached them with foam tape. I added crystals to the guitar and music notes. I added buttons at the top corners to hold the ribbon in place.

Party Girl for the place card was also cut from Rock Princess at 2". The cupcake for the card is also from Rock Princess and attached with foam tape. I used a button for the cherry and a Fiskars punch along the top. "Happy" is from K Andrew Designs Winter Wishes stamp set, and "Birthday" is from Coffee & Tea for You & Me. Click HERE to purchase you own K Andrew Design stamps!

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great evening :)

Lisa these are all so cute!! I love the guitar! You are just awesome my friend! I will be putting up some new pictures of Kyce next week, just for you! He is up to 9lbs, 4oz. 22 inches. Growing like a weed!! I have a bunch of pictures on my phone that are so cute, but I don't know how to get them on to my computer. My daughter knows how to, so she is bringing him to me Tuesday, so after that I'll post some.

Lisa, everything you make is SO funky and...well..awesome. :) This would be every teen girl's dream party! The whole theme reminds me of the 80's "hair" bands. HA! I mean it in a good way - as only a child of the 80's can. :) Just aged myself, I know. hee hee.

Great job Lisa! Welcome back. :)

Look at you, Ms. Fancy Pants! :o) Hehe, just kidding. I love that you made an entire set! Such an amazing idea. I love how all three things have a different focal element, but in the same paper and curvy shape... the guitar, cuppiecake frosting, and grooving girl just GO together! :o) Love the sparklie trim on the guitar and the button atop the cupcake! My goodness, you are just all things fabulous... as always. :o) Gorgeous work, my sweet crafty friend!
