Getting Cricky Design Team Post - Sweet July!!

Happy Sunday, everyone!! It's my turn to design at Getting Cricky and today we are featuring the Sweet July stamp set, which has quickly become one of my favorites :)

The base of the card is a Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Rectangle, with a Grand Rectangle on top. The bottom border is an Edgeabilities Classic Ric Rac die.

The paper is from My Mind's Eye The Blink Of An Eye stack.

The banner is made from Spellbinders Nested Lacy Pennants and Nested Pennants. The sun is from Sweet July, stamped in Broken China, Wild Honey and Fired Brick Distress Inks. The edges are inked with Pumice Stone Distress Ink. The bikes are also from Sweet July, inked the same as the banner. In the center are two Long Classic Scalloped Rectangles. "Summertime and the living is easy" is from Sweet July:

I am entering the card in the following challenges:
  1. Docerela Creations #15 - Summer Challenge
  2. Jaihart Sundays Are Lovely #10
Head on over to Getting Cricky to see the amazing projects my Design Team sister Gloria has created, and to see my other project. Here's a sneak peek:

Thanks so much for stopping by today :)

Lisa, what a fun card, i love the paper you used, it makes me feel like summer is on the way, the touch of white gives it a fresh feeling. It's a beautiful card. (it's the middle of June, summer should be here. lol)

You must have quite a spellbinders collection. I have a few but have never really gotten into using them.. You are definitely inspiring me to get them out. BUT I don't have the banner, I am off to see if I can find it. Thaypt banner is adorable..

And thank you for letting me know where that cute owl was from. I decided to go with a bear, but at least I know where to find a cute owl next time I need one..
Big hugs

Great card. I am considering purchasing the Grand Calibur...what do you think? Is that what you use or do you have another die cutter?

Hey Lisa, I want you to know I have been lurking even though I have not made any comments in the last few days. My Grandson graduated today! Yeah!!! But I have been so busy trying to make him and his girl cards, and get ready to go to his graduation. It takes me days to get ready, so I did look at my dearest friends blogs, I didn't make comments. Everything you have made since Thursday is wonderful. I especially loved the Happy Dad's card.

I will post a picture of him in his cap and gown this week. He's a beautiful young man if I say so myself!

Hugs, Pam

Like the banners. Banners are popular. As far as bicycle mine would have to have tandem bike on it. That reminds me I bought a Tandem bike stamp recently and have yet to use it.
