DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #184 ~ Summer Foods or Thank You

Happy Thursday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's time for a new Thankful Thursday challenge at DL.ART!! The theme this week is Summer Foods or you can always make a Thank You card. If you use the code l01210, you'll get 10% off your order at DL.ART.

I decided to make thank you cards today so I could use my new Penny Black sentiment dies that I purchased specifically for a Thankful Thursday challenge :) The papers are from Lemoncraft's Everyday Spring collection and I stitched them to the heavyweight cardstock. I so love their papers :)

Tucked among the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts are Sue Wilson Mosaic Leaves dies and some cheesecloth. The banners are from Joy Crafts. The butterfly is a Fiskars punch and I punched it out three times for dimension. White acrylic paint was applied with a Tim Holtz Splatter Brush.

This gorgeous crinkle ribbon is Sweet Love from The Valentine Bundle.

This beautiful ribbon is Mint from The 2016 Spring Bundle.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

1) Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Flora and Fauna
2) Frilly and Funkie - All Lined Up
3) Little Scrap Pieces Show It Off Saturday - Anything Goes
4) Jo's Scrap Shack Funday Friday - Anything Goes
5) Live and Love Crafts - Sprinkles of Summer (Flowers and Butterflies)

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to DL.ART to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Summer Food or Thank You project. I can't wait to see what you create :)

So glad you have power back on! Wow, these storms across the midwest this summer have been crazy and so active! We have had a ton of thunderstorm warnings and tornado warnings as well. A lot of rain, in fact 30 miles from here they shut down some roads due to all the flooding :(
Have a super weekend! We have a big b/day party Sunday for little Ailey at the other Grandparents. Should be fun!
Hugs,

I love the strong vibrant colours and the arrangement of your flowers. The splatter of the white acrylic paint breaks up the background and adds yet another wonderful dimension. enjoy the rest of your weekend. Crafty hugs, Sandra X
