Birthday Wishes Die-Versions Post

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! We were in the high 60's here!! Unheard of for January!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a couple of cards with you today using dies from the newest release. If you use the code lisa15 when you are shopping at Die-Versions, you'll receive a 15% discount on all regular priced items (not to be combined with other sales or promotions).

For these cards, I used papers from Maja Designs. A Whispers Bricks Background die cut in heavyweight cardstock and added next.

Next, I used a Whispers Butterfly Collage die, but it's a little hard to see. Tucked under the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers is the new Whispers Flourish die.

The butterfly is a Wee Petites Buggy die, and it was covered in Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice glitter. The beautiful crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART.

For the sentiment, I used one of the new Whispers Tag Set dies.

Don't forget to use the code lisa15 when you are shopping at Die-Versions for a 15% discount on all regular priced items (not to be combined with other sales or promotions).

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day :)

How lovely, Lisa! The yellow design takes my breath away, and the beautiful brick backdrop is incredible with all the light texture it affords. Those double-row embellies look fantastic as well! I hope you are doing well, and that the week is especially kind to you, Miss Mermaid! hugs, de

Beautiful cards, Lisa. I love that Bricks cover plate and bought one a few years back after I saw it on one of your cards. The change in color for the two very different occasions works so well. Love visiting your blog for inspiration.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Wow, 60's, that's crazy! We were right around 40 which is unusual for this time of year. We were unable to snowmobile but we took a few nice walks on the lake and the guys did some ice fishing. We enjoyed the traveling sauna!! A very relaxing weekend which was awesome! My hubby and I both needed that :)
Have a great evening my friend~

What beautiful cards. Isn't it funny how a different color can change the look of the card. The yellow flowers make me think of sunshine and the cream flowers make me think more of winter. Love them both. Have a great week.

Wow, what little nuggets of beauty these are Lisa! I just love the bright cheery yellows, even against teh neutral background, they still glow and light up my screen! The brickwork background is amazing, boy you must have been poking out bits from that for hours! Totally worth it though, it makes such a wonderful backdrop for your amazing floral arrangements! Love all the flourish style pieces flowing around your bow and flowers, so delicate! The birthday sentiment is lovely on the oval frame, and your strips of pearls add the perfect amount of bling!! Wonderfully put together my friend!!

Hope you are having a lovely week so far. They are predicting snow for Thursday, so I'm prepping my camera bag and setting it right beside the front door, just in case we do get that whole entire 1cm that they're promising. lol. sending hugs :)

We still have not had any snow but it is very cold (and damp) here, it seems like strange weather everywhere! Big hugs, Anne xx

Stunning designs on this pair! I had to go back and see if these were the same design, because just the color differences totally change the mood of the design! The sunshine yellow will brighten someone's special day for sure and the darker will surely bring comfort to one in need. Love the bits of cheesecloth and that brick die cut--great contrast that totally works! Hugs, my friend!

Wowzers! That brick panel is more versatile than I would have thought. You created a striking pair of cards but so different. Bright yellow and then the rustic one. Awesome sauce and beautiful! Of course your flowers and ribbons are gorgeous and perfectly placed. Such wonderful and fantabulous cards! Hugz to you muffin!
