This is How I Roll for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Tuesday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you today featuring the The Old Tractor and the The Old Tractor DIGI set for the sentiment.

For the base of the card, I used Tear-ific Tape ½” around the edges of cardstock, and then covered it with Black Diamonds glitter.

On the next layer, I used Tear-ific Tape 2” around the edges and then heat embossed it with Japanese Lacquer.

Using my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, I stamped the tractor with Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and then heat embossed it with Black Detail embossing powder before coloring. I then gave it a bit of sparkle with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Midas Touch Glitter Gloss Pen. The cloudy sky and grass were colored with Nuvo Hybrid Ink Pads. I then cut it out with a Tonic Jasmine Sunset Layering Die.

The sentiment is from the The Old Tractor DIGI set. I inked around the edges with Nuvo Hybrid Ink Pad Sunset Serenade Rich Rosewood.

I was thinking of my Dad when I made these cards...he has a tractor similar to the image :)

  11. OMGosh, I am in love with this card Lisa! It has sparkle and shine and of course a tractor! lol My late husband would have loved this one. Love your dad's tractor too. Did he use it to mow with or did he farm??? My husband loved his Case IH tractors and John Deere tractors but he was a Ford man when it came to the vehicles. lol Have a wonderful weekend my friend. Hugs, Brenda

  12. Love your dad's old ford! We have an old one as well, and it is a Ford 5000 blue. An antique LOL but still gets plenty of use! Your cards are fabulous, Lisa! The simplicity of the sentiment is perfect against your curved lines around the tractor. I also like the hay-like color for the grassy area. It's a marvelous creation! hugs, de
