Blog Break

Hello everyone and happy Friday!! This is a hard post for me to write, but I've decided to take a break from blogging. I haven't been able to find time to craft for a while now...real life is getting in the way. I just can't keep up with blogging and commenting and Facebook and Instagram, so I had to make the hard choice to step down from my design teams and take a break. Right now, I'm planning on starting fresh in the new year.

I created these cards thinking of all of you, wishing you the best while I'm gone, and celebrating the birthdays I'll miss.

I used the new My Sweet Provence papers from Lemoncraft for these cards and you can find them in my ETSY shop HERE. I'll still be making cards for my shop and I'll post some on Facebook and Instagram, so you won't be completely rid of me :) I hope you all have a wonderful end of the year, a happy Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas!! I'll miss you all while I'm gone!! Big hugs :)

Scrapy Land Challenge #120 ~ Anything Goes

Hello, everyone and happy Wednesday!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme is as always, Anything Goes Using a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are dozens to choose from!! For my cards, I used papers from Maja Designs.

The background was created with Sue Wilson Noble Collection Double Stitched Squares and then a Sue Wilson Noble Collection Double Stitched Circles die.

I've had the Memory Box Classic Staircase die for so long and never used it, so I thought it was about time :) Tucked under the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers are Precious Marieke Fantastic Flowers and Sue Wilson Olive Branch dies. The ribbon is from DL.ART.

The hanging picture is a Lawn Fawn Mini Picture Die die. It was popped up with foam tape for dimension. The sentiment was stamped on a banner die from the Impression Obsession Stitched Tag set.

DL.ART Thankful Thursday #233 ~ Baby

Hello, everyone and happy Thursday!! This is a scheduled post ~ I am out of town for a few days, so I won't be able to stop by and visit until the weekend. It's time for a new Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART and the theme is Baby, or you could always substitute a Thank You card. I couldn't decide which color of baby card to make, so I made four :) The papers are all from Lemoncraft, which you can find in my Etsy Store HERE. A XCut Doily die was used in the background. The onsie is a My Creative Time Hello Baby die, as is the adorable little elephant and the sentiment. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This beautiful ribbon is Primrose from The Spring Bundle #1.

This ribbon is Mint from the Spring Bundle #2.

This ribbon is Baby Blue from The Baby Bundle.

And this gorgeous ribbon is Baby Pink from The Baby Bundle.

I used a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen on the adorable elephant so he shimmers. He was colored with watercolors.

Nuvo Jewel Drops in Simple White were added to the corner.

Scrapy Land Challenge #94 ~ Anything Goes

Hello, everyone and happy Wednesday!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme as always, is: Anything Goes Plus a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from!! If you play along, you could be one of two winners of a $10 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land.

For my cards, I used papers from Lemoncraft, that you can find in my ETSY shop HERE.

For the top two layers of this card, I used Avery Elle Wonky Stitches die. Prills were added for texture.

Tucked between the layers is a Jeanine's Art Classic Butterflies and Flowers Doily die. I have wanted the Marianne Passe Partout Round die for a long, long time, so I was super-excited when Scrapy Land had a special order of European dies!! Be on the lookout for these special orders...you can pick up some hard-to-get dies!! Happy is an Avery Elle Tag for All die. Birthday was stamped on a LaLaLand Stitched Elements die and heat embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle Amethyst Embossing Powder.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART. Tucked beneath are Frantic Stamper Assorted Foliage dies and Elizabeth Craft Curvy Leaves dies.

Guess what die I used on the inside??!! If you said the Karen Burniston Twist Panel Pop-Up die, you'd be correct!! Yep, totally addicted :)

Make A was heat embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle White Detail Embossing Powder. Wish is a Poppystamps Wish die. It was covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice glitter.

DL.ART Thankful Thursday #232 ~ Anniversary

Hello, everyone and happy Thursday!! It's time for a new Thankful Thursday challenge at DL.ART and the theme this week is Anniversary, or you could always substitute a Thank You card. If you use the code LF222, Diana will give you a 10% discount to shop at the DL.ART store.

For my cards, I used Prima papers and some new dies I picked up when Scrapy Land had a special order for European dies.

The background die is a Joy Crafts Lovely Frame die. It was popped up with foam tape for dimension.

I used beautiful Whipped Cream Crinkle Ribbon from the Creamy Dreamy Bundle. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and tucked beneath are Cheery Lynn Floral Bouquet Kit dies.

The beautiful couple are a Marianne Bride and Groom die, and they were also popped up with foam tape. One was cut with black cardstock and the other white. They were then covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice Glitter. The Love die from Simon Says Stamp was also covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice Glitter. The sentiments are also from SSS and they were stamped on a Poppystamps Stitched Banner die and then embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle White Detail Embossing Powder.

Scrapy Land Challenge #93 ~ Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday, everyone and 🎆Happy 4th of July 🗽 to all of my friends in the USA!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme is Anything Goes Plus a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from!! I am so addicted to the Karen Burniston dies...they take a lot longer to make (and I'm a slow crafter as it is) but I just love them :) I used Lemoncraft Yesterday and Violet Silence papers for these cards. Both paper collections are available in my ETSY Shop.

The bottom layer is an Avery Elle Wonky Stitches, followed by a Paper Artist Lacy Rectangle Frame. The next two layers are Precious Marieke Wondrous Frame and Cherry Lynn French Pastry Doily dies.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART. Tucked beneath are Memory Box Chloe Stem, Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch, and Frantic Stamper Assorted Foliage dies. For the sentiment, I used a Sue Wilson Pierced Flag and it was heat embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle Gold Detail Embossing Powder.

For the inside of the card, I used several of the dies that come with the Karen Burniston Twist Panel Pop-Up set.

Happy Birthday is a Little B Happy Birthday die. It's impossible to tell in the picture, but the hearts and banner are covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice Glitter.

For my cards, I used the Karen Burniston Tag Book die and I absolutely love, love it!! It's so fun!! I'm addicted to her interactive dies :) I used papers from Lemoncraft's Yesterday stack, which you can find in my ETSY store HERE.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Tucked beneath are Sue Wilson Orange Blossom Leaves and Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch dies. I used a Frantic Stamper Elementals #18 - Stitched Bracket and a Frantic Stamper Tangled Frames to frame the Lemoncraft butterfly.

Isn't the inside pop-up fun??!! In here, I used Jeanine's Art Vintage Flowers and Cherry Lynn Floral Bouquet as well as several of the dies that come with the KB Tag set. The sentiment was stamped on a Sue Wilson Pierced Flags and heat embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle White Detail Embossing Powder.
