Happy (Ash) Wednesday, everyone!! It's time for another fun challenge at Decorate to Celebrate!! Thanks to everyone who entered our last challenge. We  hope you will join us again this week. Our theme for this challenge is St. Patrick's Day or you can enter any birthday decorations.

I created a banner to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with festive St. Patty's Day papers I had in my stash.

Spellbinders Nested Pennants and Nested Lacy Pennants were used for the banner. The green cardstock was embossed with a Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes embossing folder. "Happy" is from a Stampendous Happy Messages stamp set. The letters for St. Pat's are Die-Versions Downhill Fonts.

  1. DL.Art - March Linky
  2. Every Day is an Occasion - March Linky
  3. Just B Creative Crazy - March Linky

Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday - Luck of the Irish

Happy Friday!! I hope you have fun plans for the weekend!! Maybe indulge in a little corned beef and cabbage and green beer for St. Patrick's Day??!! It's time for another Fun Friday Challenge at Little Scrap Pieces!! The theme this week is Luck of the Irish :)

Guess what made an appearance for this challenge...my Cricut!! She's feeling so neglected. Actually, she still is because I cheated a bit...I made this card last St. Patty's Day but never got the chance to post it :) It was made using the Spring Holiday Cards cartridge. The postage stamp shape was embossed with a Sizzix diamond pattern embossing folder.

Lucky charm and the horseshoe were cut twice, first in black and then in sparkly gold paper. The gold layers were attached with foam tape for dimension. The shamrocks are from the same cart. Green rhinestones decorate the horseshoe, and it was finished off with a bow.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. DL.Art - March Linky Party
  2. Sunday Funday #7 - March Linky Party
  3. Craft It Up & Link It Up - Linky Party
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Little Scrap Pieces to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Luck of the Irish project...I can't wait to see what you create :)

Decorate To Celebrate Challenge #20 - St. Patty's Day Party!!

Happy Wednesday, everyone!! It's time for another super-fun challenge at Decorate to Celebrate!! The theme this week is St. Patrick's Day - we are asking you to create any project that can be used as a party decoration for a St. Patty's Day party. Let's celebrate everything wonderful about St. Patty's Day with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more!!

I love St. Patty's Day! I have ancestors from both sides of the family from Ireland, and my grade school/junior high school's nickname was the Irish and our colors were green and white :) For my St. Patrick's Day party, I created a centerpiece, party hat and sign!! I used paper from Core'dinations and DCWV Dots, Stripes and Plaids stack.

This just cracks me up :) "Who's Your Paddy" (HA!!) is from Spring Holiday Cards, and I added "Erin Go Bragh" (Ireland forever) to the bottom using Opposites Attract. The shamrocks are also from Spring Holiday Cards.

Lucky one and the shamrock stamp are from K Andrew Designs Hooty Owl Accessories:

I used Life's A Party to cut the party hat. The shamrock topper is from Spring Holiday Cards, and the letters are from Opposites Attract. The lipstick print is from K Andrew Designs It's Valentine's stamp set:

You can't have a St. Patty's Day party without a Blarney Stone for all the guests to kiss when they arrive :) I used my Gypsy to create the sign, using Opposites Attract. I borrowed the "Blarney Stone" from my dad...he likes to collect a beautiful rock from places my parents travel and I think this one is from the Chesapeake Bay area :)

I am linking this up at Krafty Girls Challenge #2 - Feeling Lucky

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Decorate to Celebrate and link up your St. Patrick's Day Party Decorations!! I can't wait to see what you create :)
