A Big Birthday Wish for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a project to share with you featuring the new A Big Birthday Wish 931 stamp set. I'm very sad to say this will be my last post with Sparkle N Sprinkle. I have thoroughly enjoyed the last year using the amazing glitters, embossing powders and so many other items SNS carries. Though I'm stepping away, I will forever be one of SNS's biggest fans (and customer)!!

The papers I used to make the cards are from Lemoncraft, available in my ETSY store HERE.

For the base of the card, I used Tonic Verso Gothic Border Square dies. The bottom layer was cut with Super-Adhesive Sheets and then covered with Ballerina glitter. Isn't the pink sparkle pretty :)

The next layer is a Tonic Layering Basics Sunray Venus die, followed by a Prima Doily die cut with a Super-Adhesive Sheets and covered with Cloud Nine glitter. The next layer is a Tonic Simplicity Verso Love Arch Square die.

After dusting vellum with a Anti Static Bag, I used a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the birthday sentiment with Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and then heat embossed it with Black Detail. Happy was heat embossed with White Detail.

The butterfly from the Violets for You stamp set was stamped on vellum and heat embossed with Black Detail. I used Spectrum Noir markers to color the back of the butterfly and then used a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen on the front for sparkle.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Puppy Love for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you today featuring the new Puppy Love DIGI3146M digital stamp set.

After applying Super-Adhesive Sheets to cardstock, I cut out the Tonic Simplicity Verso Love Arch Square.

The bottom layer was covered with Pinkerbell glitter and the top layer with Ballerina glitter. I used a Glitter Brush to remove the excess glitter.

The next layer was covered with Crystal Ice glitter. On the next one, I used a Sizziz 3D heart embossing folder and then applied Nuvo Embellishment Mousse Toasted Almond over the hearts. A coat of DecoArt Crackle Glaze went on next and when it dried and cracked, I added white paint to highlight the cracks.

I used a Tonic Mixed Edge Oval to cut out the digital image. The edges were brushed with Nuvo Glue Pen Large and then heat embossed with Princess Rose. Using a Nuvo Smooth Precision Glue Pen, I added Pink Spirit Sparkle N Soft to the balloons.

I cut out the pup out with Tonic Spring-Cut Fine Tip Detail Scissors 6.5” and popped him up with foam tape for dimension. He was brushed with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen for shimmer. The drops are Nuvo Crystal Drops Party Pink.

Koi Pond Friends for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog.

I have a couple of cards to share with you today featuring the new Koi Pond Friends 919 stamp set.

For the base of the card, I applied Tear-ific Tape ¼ to the edges of cardstock and then applied Nuvo Gilding Flakes Silver Bullion. After burnishing it with my fingers, I brushed off the excess using a Glitter Brush.

For the sentiment from the Koi Pond Friends stamp set, I used an Anti Static Bag over vellum and using a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, I stamped using Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and heat embossed White Detail embossing powder.

For the next layer, I used an Anti Static Bag over cardstock and using a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, I stamped the bubbles with a Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and heat embossed them with White Detail embossing powder. Then I sprinkled on Nuvo Shimmer Powder Blue Blitz, Nuvo Shimmer Powder Atlantis Burst, and Nuvo Shimmer Powder Green Parade, and spritzed them with water.

Using Tonic Mixed Edge Oval, I cut an oval in the paper and created a frame. Using a Nuvo Glue Pen Large over the frame, It was covered with Ocean Surge glitter. The "water" is Fascination glitter, sprinkled over a Super-Adhesive Sheet. The koi were stamped using a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform with a Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and heat embossed with Black Detail. They were then colored with Spectrum Noir markers, cut out with Tonic Spring-Cut Fine Tip Detail Scissors 6.5 and brushed with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen for sparkle.

The lotus was stamped using a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform with a Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and heat embossed with Black Detail. For the center, I used a  Nuvo Smooth Precision Glue Pen and then covered it with Daisy glitter. Using a  Nuvo Smooth Precision Glue Pen, I traced along the edges and then sprinkled on Crystal Ice glitter.

Merry Christmas Tree for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a couple of Christmas cards to share with you featuring the Merry Christmas Tree DIGI906BG stamp set.

For my cards, I used a Tonic Jasmine Sunset Layering Die for the shape of the cards. Super Adhesive Sheets were applied to the base layer, and then covered with Gypsy Red glitter. For the next layer, I used a Prima Stencil and Nuvo Embellishment Mousse Seaspray Green for texture.

I applied a Super Adhesive Sheets to cardstock, and then cut it out with a Tonic Sunray Venus die. It was then covered with Irish Isle glitter. I used a Tonic Mixed Edge Oval to cut out the image. The frame was covered with Christmas Cheer glitter. Believe was also covered with Gypsy Red glitter and I used a Nuvo Crystal Drops Simply White to dot the I.

I first covered the Christmas tree with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen for some amazing sparkle. I love these pens!! Then I covered it with Nuvo Crystal Glaze.

It's pretty much impossible to tell in the pictures, but I used a Nuvo Smooth Precision Glue Pen and then added a strip of Crystal Ice glitter to the poinsettias.

What a Wonderful Day for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Friday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog and I have  two shaker cards to share with you using the beautiful Rainbow Roses DIGI set.

For the bottom two layers, I adhered Tear-ific Tape ¼" to the edges of cardstock. The bottom layer was heat embossed with Gold Detail embossing powder. The next layer was heat embossed with Princess Rose embossing powder. I used Tear-ific Tape 2” to adhere the layers together.

It's highly possible that I'm completely addicted to the Nuvo Shimmer Powders :) For the background, I used Nuvo Shimmer Powders in Solar Flare, Green Parade and Cherry Bomb. I also spritzed on Nuvo Mica Mist Fresh Pear.

A Tonic Mixed Edge Oval was used as a frame around the shaker. It was heat embossed with Gold Detail embossing powder.

After I printed out the pre-colored image, I covered it with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Midas Touch Glitter Gloss Pen for amazing sparkle. The shaker is filled with Nuvo Cross My Heart Confetti Diamond Harlequin and Candy Pink Circles and Nuvo Golden Years Confetti Ice White Circles.

The butterflies were covered with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon from DL.ART. The butterflies are from Lemoncraft.

Birds of a Feather for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Tuesday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you featuring the new Feathered Friends stamp set.



For the base of the card, I adhered Tear-ific Tape ½” to the edges of cardstock and then covered it with Impulsive Purple glitter.

For the next three layers, I used Nuvo Shimmer Powders in Green Parade, Atlantis Burst, Violet Brocade and Blue Blitz. On the Shimmer Powders, I used a mixture of water and Nuvo Mica Mists in Nebula Blue and Fresh Pear.

Using a Tonic Jasmine Sunset Layering Die, I cut out a layer of the papers colored with the Nuvo Shimmer Powders and Mica Mists. I then used a Tonic Patterned Panels Deco Diamond to create a stencil, and adhered Nuvo Glimmer Paste Tanzanite.

Using a Tonic Sunray Venus die, I cut another panel and then heat-embossed the Feathered Friends image with Black Detail embossing powder. I repeated the steps before coloring them with Spectrum Noir markers, covering them with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen and fussy cutting the birds. They were popped up with foam tape for dimension.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon from DL.ART. I adhered Super-Adhesive Sheets over cardstock and then used Tonic Mixed Edge Ovals to cut the two ovals for the sentiment. The base was covered with Cobalt Glaze glitter. The top layer was heat embossed with Sapphire embossing powder. The sentiment was heat embossed with White Detail embossing powder. I also used Super Thick White embossing powder for added texture.

Having a Place to Go is Home for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog and I have a couple of eclipse cards to share with you featuring the new Vintage Country Home DIGI911.

For the base of the card, I used a Super-Adhesive Sheets and heat embossed it with Silver Detail embossing powder. I then used Tear-ific Tape 2” to adhere it to the white heavyweight cardstock.

The frame was heat embossed with Antiquities embossing powder and popped up with foam tape for dimension.

I used Altenew Bold Alphabet dies to cut the word home from the Vintage Country Home digital image. The letters were then popped up with foam tape.

Here's another look at the dimension.

The sentiment was cut with a Tonic Mixed Edge Oval die. The background layer was heat embossed with Platinum Detail and attached with Tear-ific Tape ½”. The corners looked bare, so I added Nuvo Crystal Drops Simply White.

Wishing You the Best Birthday Ever for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have two birthday cards to share with you today.

For these cards, I used the new Emma's Best Birthday Digi stamp set, precolored.

For the background of this card, I used Nuvo Shimmer Powder Cherry Bomb, spritzed with water. I love these powders!! Nuvo Glimmer Paste Moonstone was applied through a Stampendous Flourishes Stencil.

On this one, I used Nuvo Shimmer Powder Violet Brocade.

On Emma's dress, I used a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen and on the cake, I used Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Midas Touch Glitter Gloss Pen. She was cut out with a Tonic Mixed Edge Oval. The edge of the oval was lightly covered with Tooth Fairy glitter. The scalloped circle behind was heat embossed with Lana Pink embossing powder, as was the butterfly. Nuvo Crystal Drops Party Pink were added for dimension.

The edge of this oval was lightly inked with Nuvo Hybrid Ink Pad Sunset Serenade in Royal Plum. The scalloped oval was covered with Caspia Sea glitter. The butterfly was covered with Purple Fig glitter.

On the inside, I used a Tonic Jasmine Sunset Layering Die and cut out the sentiment with a Tonic Mixed Edge Oval.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART. Tucked beneath are Marianne Design Daisy and Leaves and Memory Box Chloe Stems. The sentiment was cut out with a LaLa Land Stitched Banner and the edges were inked with Nuvo Hybrid Ink Pad Rose Garden in Pink Sherbet.
