Decorate to Celebrate #78 - 4th of July!!

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a great week!! It's time for another fun challenge at Decorate to Celebrate!! For Challenge #78, we are asking you to create Fourth of July or Birthday Decorations!! Let's celebrate everything wonderful about fireworks, sparklers, freedom or birthdays with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more :)

I created a 3D star decoration for my project. The star was created with a Sizzix Bigz Star Bright die with papers from DCWV. The rosettes are Tim Holtz Paper Rosettes dies.

Happy July 4th was colored with TH Distress Markers in Salty Ocean and Fired Brick. The sentiment, as well as...

CDD June Stamp Release Day 4

Are you ready to get the sneak peeks started? I am!!!

Welcome to Day 4 of our June stamp release party!! Each day we will be giving you a sneak peek at one of the four new stamp sets. Then, on Tuesday and Wednesday, we will have a blog hop with prizes each day. The design team has some amazing creations to start this stamp release party.

Today we are showcasing the Say It Big stamp set!!

All of the new stamps are 4x6 and Made in the USA. Stamps will be available to order on Tuesday.

Here's my project I created:

Believe it or not, I went CAS!! Oh, it was sooo hard for me!! You know how much I love layers!! But I wanted to go simple for this one to highlight the sentiment. I got the inspiration for this card on Pinterest HERE. I taped off a section of paper and then painted on Twinkling H2O's in three colors. You can't tell in the photos, but it really shimmers. Once they dried, I placed a Crafter's Workshop Chicken Wire stencil over the top and sponged on Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge Distress Ink. I used Twinkling H2O's for the second layer of the card, too.

The stamp is from Stampendious. Because I couldn't have that much blank white space, I added a Memory Box butterfly covered with Doodlebug Design Sugar Coating.

"Celebrate" is from Say It Big.

CDD Sneak Peeks Day 3 - Celebrate

Today we are showcasing the Bring On the Cake stamp set. You can never have enough Birthday sentiments and there are some fabulous ones on this set!!

Here's my project I created:

The background paper is from Prima's Delight stack. The edges have been distressed with a Zutter DIA. A Spellbinders Floral Oval was attached with foam tape for dimension. A Spellbinders Classic Ovals Large was cut out of corrugated cardboard and dry-brushed with white paint. Tulle was added for a bit of added texture.

Another Spellbinders Classic Ovals Large was added next. The shabby picture frame is from The Paper Studio Spare Parts.The image was cut from the paper. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, and the ribbon is from May Arts. The button is a Die-Versions Button die.

Lil' Inker Stitched Flags were cut for the "Happy Birthday" sentiments. It was embossed with Stampin' Up Embossing Powder in Olive.

"Celebrate" was heat embossed with Zing Vanilla Embossing Powder. I then cut between the letters in order to bend the banner around the oval, and attached it with green brads. Dream Big is a Tim Holtz Remnant Rub.
