Caring Thoughts are With You

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope you are having a great day! Gosh, it has seemed like Monday to me all day because of the holiday yesterday.
I made a card today that I am sending to Madison at Funky Cards for her awesome I Feel The Love Project - July. The project this month is to make a card for 3 year old Marley Moore who is battling a cancerous brain tumor and other things no three-year-old should have to endure.
For this card, I used the Die Cutting Diva's Sketch Week #22 sketch. The card was cut from Wild Card at 5". The pink paper is Core Couture and the pink plaid is from DCWV. I used the Seeing Spots Cuttlebug embossing folder on the plaid paper. I cut the little girl from Nursery Rhymes and the dragonfly from Picturesque. I punched two holes in the top of the card and used pink organza ribbon for the bow. I am entering the card in:
Please visit Madison at Funky Cards for more information on her wonderful I Feel The Love Project. It is such an amazing thing she is doing organizing this, and if you can, please send a card for Marley and her family. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great evening :)

I saw that challenge. That sketch looks like a great one to try and you did a fantastic job... your Nursery Rhyme cartridge is one happily lil chirpin cart lately! Love the dragonfly ad the way you used pearl accents across it. Perfect!

Lisa such a thoughtful gesture and a beautiful card. It's just heartbreaking when children have to battle a horrible disease at a time in their lives when they shouldn't have any worries.
hope you have a good night too,
Karen

Lisa, this is simply gorgeous! So soft and beautiful... I absolutely love how you used the same patterned paper, separated by the lovely pink shadow. Just stunning. The organza and pearls are beautiful accents. Another wonderful creation! Thank you for the information on Marley. So many people to pray and create for. You are a blessing!

Hugs and blessings. :o)

I'm catching up with your blog here. We've been gone the last few day and now I have to see what you've been up to. Beautiful card! I love how you did the same pattern with the cuts as the background paper! I never would have thought to do that but it works and looks wonderful! Ok, on to your next post............

Lovely card! I think I have this paper! It came in one of DCWV's really big paper packs. I bought it when I first started crafting years ago, and I still have a bunch of it! You did a wonderful job on this card. I really like it. ~ Sabrina
