Scrapy Land Challenge #63 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a great week!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme is Anything Goes Plus a brand of die Scrapy Land carries...there are over 55 to choose from!! You could win a $15 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land :)

For my birthday cards, I stitched together papers from Prima.

I used a new Sue Wilson Designs Madeleine Die with all of the layers popped up with foam tape for dimension.

The bottom border is a Penny Black Edger die.

Tucked under the flowers are Cheery Lynn Flourish dies and a Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklets die.

The sentiments are from My Creative Time, stamped with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.

These cards are a little taller than I usually make, but that was so I could tuck in a bookmark :) I used a Memory Box Stitched Circle die to cut the opening. The bookmark is a Penny Black Bookmark die. I layered it three times for sturdiness.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART. The lace is also from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Scrapy Land Dies Used

I'm entering these in the following challenges:

1) Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Happy Birthday
1) Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
2) Jo's Scrap Shack Funday Friday - Anything Goes
3) djkardkreations NBUS - Used new Sue Wilson Madeleine die and new Penny Black bookmark die

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Scrapy Land to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge!! Then link up your Anything Goes project using a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

Leave it to Miss Mermaid to create so lovely a pocket card with a book mark as the surprise element! How exquisite! I love that you've used the Eiffel Tower on the bookmark, describing that reading transports us into wonderful new worlds. I'm an avid reader, and love being immersed in whatever locale, plot, culture, etc, that the book takes me into. I have never considered this size of "pocket card" before. Fantastic design, right down to the pretty papers and amazing die cut combinations. That SW die set remains virginal in my stash, but I'm so glad to have it! It is relatively "classic", and will be usable for a long time! Thanks for the incredible inspiration today, Lisa! xoxox

We are midway on our current challenge and I hope you join us again.
