May Your Days Be Merry & Bright for Wild Orchid Crafts

Hello, everyone and happy Monday!! It's my turn to post on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog and I'd love for you to stop by if you have time :) I have a couple of Christmas cards to share with you today featuring flower making foam and other items you can find in the Wild Orchid Crafts store.

I chose non-traditional Christmas colors for my cards, including the Pale Peach Flower Making Foam I used to create the poinsettias. For the centers, I used Ivory Small Double Headed Pearl Stamens. The papers are from an old My Mind's Eye Christmas stack.

I also used pale peach Cottage Roses and Open Roses, White Frosted Berry Spray, White Pearl Spray and Self-Adhesive Pearls.

Some close-ups:

I am entering these in the following challenges:

1) Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes
2) Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
3) Jo's Scrap Shack Funday Friday - Anything Goes
4) Dies R Us Challenge #86 - Christmas Carols (White Christmas...even though my card isn't ;)
5) Chouxchoux Paper Art Visions of Sugarplums Challenge - Christmas/Winter

Well I am completely blown away with these cards Lisa! Your colour palette is non-traditional and so wonderfully unique, it works so well!! I love the music notes paper, so perfect for a holiday card, and the glittery paper is just magical! Your shaped sentiment tag is wonderful and that glittery die cut flourish with the birds is amazing! The show stopper for me today though, are those handmade peach poinsettias!! Holy wowzers, they are so gorgeous! So so soft and natural looking, you really created an original and magnificent design for a holiday card! sending hugs :)

All those luscious finishes, colors and textures definitely are uncommon, but completely Christmasy! BEAUTIFUL, Miss Mermaid, and completely, uniquely, Lisa-Style! Who would not love receiving this Christmasy greeting? Wishing you a great week! hugs, de

This flower foam is a new product to me, but it certainly made some gorgeous flowers. Love the 'natural' look you've achieved with the sprigs of pine branches tucked behind, the pretty papers and the sparkle of the bling you've tucked around. So pretty, lovely layers, as always. TFS
