Guest Designer at Love to Crop!

Happy Friday, bloggers! I am so excited and honored to be a guest designer for my super-sweet and amazingly talented friend Amy of Love to Crop! She has the funnest challenges and for this one, the theme is EMBOSSING! I love my Cuttlebug - it runs a close second to my Cricut. I actually have a Cricut-less Halloween card to share with you today. I know, amazing for me, right?!
The main focus of this card is an awesome Tim Holtz Sizzex embossing folder. I used Black Magic paper from Core'dinations. I sanded down the image and the core was actually yellow, so I brushed over it with Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink. I used a distress tool to shred the edges and then inked them with the Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink. The adorable spider is a sticker. I stamped directly onto the Hobby Lobby crinkle ribbon with Happy Halloween and the spooky bats from the K Andrew Designs Fall-O-Ween stamp set. Look at all these awesome sentiments, perfect for all of your Fall and Halloween projects:
Click HERE to purchase your own set or to see her entire fabulous line of stamps.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and thank you so much Amy, for having me as a guest designer! I hope you will hop on over to Love to Crop (http://www.lovetocrop.com) and link up your embossed project...you could even win a prize!! I can't wait to see what you create! Have a great day :)

Lisa, I saw this over at LTC and was AMAZED. It is a simple project, but one that turned out so terrific. I can't believe there aren't any Cricut cuts...LOL! I adore your work and strong dedication to crafting. CONGRATULATIONS on your GDT spot with Amy!
Until next time my dear Blend!

What a great card, Lisa. This embossing folder of TH is amazing.... can't seem to find any of his new ones around here. Am dying to buy his mini pumpkin and acorn die, but no go. Guess I need to take another of my out of state trips so I can stock up again. Any how, your card is a winner!!!
Hugs!

Fun card. I love all of the distressing that you did. I have not found any embossing plates for my cuttlebug. I'll have to dig out my old brass plates and stylus.

Another incredible creation, my sweet friend! :) I love how you let the detailed embossing take center stage... it looks amazing on black with the inking! You're amazing as ever. :o) The sentiment on the ribbon is gorgeous! Your creations always stand out and this Cricut-less one is no exception. Excellent work, my friend!
