Simply Sunday Challenge - Halloween Treat Holders

Happy Sunday, everyone! It's time for another super-fun Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge! The theme this week is Halloween treat holders - a bag, box, decorated pillow holder...anything a child can use to carry candy or any Halloween project!
For my treat holder, I started with a generic green bag and attached black card stock to the front. I cut the haunted house from October 31 at 5" and then used my Gypsy to hide all the cut-outs except for the frame of the house. I cut it again in orange Core Couture for the background and attached it with foam tape. I cut the ghosts from cardstock. The black tag is a spellbinders die and the orange circle is as well. I used "Trick or Treat" from the K Andrews Design Fall-O-Ween stamp set. I also used the bat from the same set to stamp on the ribbon attached to the handle. Look at all the awesome stamps in this set - perfect for all of your Halloween, Fall and Harvest projects!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Please visit Getting Cricky to see all the awesome projects the Design Team has made and don't forget to link up your project as well! I can't wait to see what you create :)

Woohoo, it's a Lisa post! :o) This is one fantastic goodie bag. I love the 'illuminated' house and I love that you used the black/orange plaid paper behind it. It gives even more layer fabulousness! Hovering ghosts above is such a great idea. I'm loving the paper you used for the sentiment, and of course the textural ribbon! Then again, you always think of everything. :o) Beautiful work, my friend! You are so dearly missed!

Hugs and blessings!

Lisa, this is 100% FABULOUS!! I love, love, LOVE that spooky house -- the orange behind it is PERFECT!! :) And again, I must bow to YOU, my creative friend... When I see how many different things you use on one project (Cricut, gypsy, spellbinders, stamps), I always think you must have the most organized craft room ever!! :)

Thanks so much for all you do and for being such a wonderfully encouraging friend!! :)

LISA!!!!! YAY!!! You're back! {{BIG HUGS}} Okay, if you didn't freak me out enough with weird spider eyes and creepy pumpkin faces then you have to throw Jack's freaky voice into the mix! Gez! Remind me not to ever trick or treat at your house....I'd have a grabber! (Remember Sanford and Sons?.. Here I come Elizabeth...) lol! I know you do if you remember BeWitched! I loved that show too, but I wanted to be Tabitha and not only have powers but have a mom, grandma and a crazy aunt that had them too!

I am so glad your back! It just hasn't been the same with you gone friend! I hope you post some pictures of the beautiful places you went. I am so jealous, I love love love the West/S. West. I actually lived in Vegas a long time ago until I was banned from all the casinos. (lol..just kidding..lol). It was so nice to not have to even own a winter coat! And what a great time of year to go, the colors must have been beautiful up in the mountains! Well I hope you recharged the batteries and had a wonderful time. The projects you did before you left were all just so amazing, and might I add this gift bag is as well! I know I speak for all of your fab friends on here when I say you were very much missed and we are so glad you're back! ;)

No...no tearing up now, remember what I told you about cardstock! Welcome back friend!
